The American Society of Addiction Nursing (ASAN) invites abstracts for our 2025 Conference, to be held August 8-10, 2025 at the Flamingo Hotel, Las Vegas, Nevada. The theme of the Conference is New Directions in Treatment, Education, Inclusivity and Service.
Deadline for submissions is 11:59 pm Eastern, May 31, 2025.
Overall Conference Learning Objectives
- Enhance knowledge of substance use disorder/addictions in various populations with regard to nursing practice.
- Identify contributions and current achievements in the substance use/addiction environment.
- Recognize successful strategies to innovate and collaborate that will promote excellence in addiction nursing practice, education, research
- Advance substance use /addictions nurses as leaders in care excellence.
Who Should Submit
- Abstract submissions are welcomed from nursing, healthcare professionals, and students.
- Only the primary author or lead organizer should submit an abstract.

- Submission title - Limited to 25 words

- Track 1 : Clinical & Evidence-based Practice & Emerging Trends
- Track 2: Education & Professional Development
- Track 3: Leadership/Administration & Professional Development
- Track 4: Research
- Learner level - Beginner; Novice; Intermediate; Expert
- Learning objectives - Please provide at least 2 measurable objectives
- Abstract content - The abstract is limited to 300 words (i.e., excluding the title and author information and references. The text should highlight the main points of the presentation).
- Author details - submitters must be provide the full name, credentials, contact information, and short biography (150 words) for each author in your submission
- Nursing CE support documents - The primary author must submit their CV/Resume for Nursing CE approval
- Accepted abstracts - the primary author will receive an email notification of acceptance on or before 20-June-2025.
