About the American Society of Addiction Nursing (ASAN)

ASAN Mission: To provide leadership, collaboration, education and support through the use of evidence informed care in all practice settings and to promote research and education for the prevention, compassionate intervention and treatment of addiction.

The American Society of Addiction Nursing (ASAN) was created in 2020 by the founding members to fill a void in our profession. The founding members recognized a void in the true advocacy of Nurses in their pursuit of caring for clients and communities.
