This workshop will address the marijuana in real time. Learn about the different strains, potencies, and methods of ingestion and how this may lead to psychosis and other marijuana related mental health issues. Learner Objectives Distinguish the different THC absorption rates based on method of ingestion. List the different ways of confronting the more common reasons people give for using marijuana. Ana was the Co-Founder and Clinical Director of Family Recovery Specialists, an intensive outpatient treatment program and consulting practice, which sold in 2018. Ana was Associate Clinical director at Lucida treatment Center, a multicultural program with services delivered in Spanish. Ana has been working in the mental health field for over 20 years and began her career at South Miami Hospital’s Addiction Treatment Center, where she worked as a primary therapist and ultimately as supervisor of the adolescent program.
