I have had the privilege of working side by side with caring people in the healthcare industry for the past 45 years in varied positions and varied settings. Positions I have held include; House Orderly, Staff Nurse, Nurse Manager, Program Director, Director of Nursing, Consultant, and lastly, the President of my own company. Settings have included Inpatient, Outpatient, Acute Care, Psychiatry, Rehabilitation, Long Term Care and a specialization in Addiction Nursing.

My interest in addictions is both professional and personal. It is a result of a natural alliance with Psychiatric Nursing, my primary career path, and my own ongoing recovery from Alcohol Use Disorder. Professionally, working in the field of Addictions has allowed me to utilize all my nursing skills utilizing a true Bio-Psycho-Social approach. Personally, working in this field has kept my own recovery front and center and has allowed me to share my experience, strength and hope with others. I have the best of both worlds. 

I am currently the President of Executive Recovery Coach, Inc® and Executive Home Detox®, a company I founded fifteen years ago.
