Suzanne Alunni-Kinkle MSN,RN Suzanne has over 30 plus years working in the field of substance use disorders. Her work experiences include working in Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT), inpatient detox/residential setting, coordinator of a Regional Perinatal Addiction Prevention Project and in Alternative To Discipline programs. She has a passion for Nurses helping Nurses: Suzanne had served as a Peer Facilitator for over 9 years for the NJ Recovery and Monitoring Program (RAMP)and later as Director of RAMP. She also served as Chief Nursing Director for the Intervention Project for Nurses (IPN) in Florida . In 2013, Suzanne been a member of the National Organization of Alternative Programs (NOAP) and has been an active members serving as a board member , treasurer and conference committee/Chair. In addition, she serves as co-editor of the Peer Assistance column for the Journal of Addiction Nursing. Suzanne takes an active role in the organizations she joins that are dedicated to the well-being of those suffering from the diseases of addiction . She joined the International Nurses Society of Addiction (IntNSA) in 2002 until 2020 and had served IntNSA for 15 plus years in numerous positions. In 2004 she began a NJ State Chapter and in 2017 was a founding member of the Florida State Chapter. In keeping with her passion, Suzanne currently works for FSSolutions as Director of Business Development / Recovery Management Services (RMS). RMS is a third party administrator that provides software, drug testing and support for programs across the country that monitor health care professional whose practice maybe impaired by substance abuse, mental health or boundary issues. |
